As of June 2021, everything is open in Austin at full capacity. It pretty much has been for 6-9 months.
In the county, about 50% are fully vaccinated and 60% have gotten at least one dose.
There are a few differences between now and pre-pandemic:
– Most people are still required to and are wearing masks indoors.
– Reservations are definitely needed at any sit-down restaurants. There are over 1,000 food trucks everywhere which don’t require reservations.
– Most swimming spots require reservations so please book ahead.
Other than that, it’s still the party town it was before with good food and fun-loving people. Enjoy!
